AFRICA SKILLS FOR JOBS POLICY ACADEMY
Kenya is championing Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) as the engine of Africa’s economic transformation, with PS Dr. Esther Thaara Muoria urging nations to align skills development with industrial growth. Speaking at the Africa Skills for Jobs Policy Academy, Dr. Muoria emphasized that “TVET must be at the center of Africa’s growth agenda,” noting that Africa’s future depends on empowering its youth with practical, market-ready skills.She called for stronger collaboration among governments, industry and development partners to ensure training goes beyond theory and prepare graduates to innovate, create jobs and drive sustainable industrialization across the continent.
